Sally-Anne Ross


Sally-Anne has broad corporate and governance experience having worked within Toyota, BHP, ACI Packaging and National Australia Bank, and been a non-executive director in the health, education and social services sectors. Sally-Anne has worked extensively as an executive coach, facilitator and coached groups on leadership.

Sally-Anne has lived experience as a senior woman in corporate Australia and as Chair of boards, committees and cross-industry groups.  She has expertise in process improvement, organisational design and corporate social responsibility.  Furthermore, she has extensive experience in the creation and deployment of business strategy across large and complex organisations.

Throughout her career, Sally-Anne has always been a trusted adviser for the managers, executives, CEO’s, directors and Chairs she has worked with, as an executive herself and later as a Board director. Sally-Anne gets profound satisfaction from working alongside talented and diligent individuals to assist them to achieve beyond their expectations.

Sally-Anne’s executive coaching and consulting practice follows a senior career in corporate Australia and 20 years in industry. Whilst building her coaching practice, Sally had board appointments in the health, education and social services sectors. Sally also coached at the University of Melbourne, as part of a Leadership and Innovation program for industry.


Sally has experience as a senior executive at National Australia Bank (NAB). At NAB, in the role of Group Head of Community Investment, Sally coordinated NAB businesses globally on strategy, projects and partnerships with the not for profit and government sector. Before this, Sally advised on corporate social responsibility (CSR), with responsibilities for strategy, governance and risk. Before moving into CSR, Sally led a large team responsible for process improvement and change management across NAB Australia. Previously, she was in project directorship and management roles.

Prior to joining NAB, Sally spent 8 years in commercial roles in the automotive, mining and packaging industries, working within BHP, Toyota and ACI Packaging. During this time, she completed a part-time MBA at Melbourne Business School. She also lived and worked at various sites around Australia, including Whyalla, Newcastle and Port Kembla.
