Kate is an energetic, experienced and highly capable people consultant and coach. She works across the areas of culture transformation, industrial and employment relations, people strategy, people technology projects, organisation development, change, training and communications.
Kate is an accomplished HR Generalist who enjoys working with organisations that are driven to improve their people and business outcomes, genuinely care about their team and have an appetite to grow through experimentation and change. She believes in equality for everyone and strives to see people realise and achieve their full potential in life. Kate’s passion for seeing people advance in their career is the reason she actively mentors and advises many people professionals from different industries and at various stages in their career. This passion then evolved into Kate’s professional life as she started coaching individuals from a wide variety of sectors and with diverse challenges at their respective levels in the employment life cycle.
Over a 13 year professional career, Kate has held senior Human Resources roles in a variety of organisations across Queensland, Melbourne, and Sydney. Kate now runs Zest People Solutions, a coaching and people consulting business, with a difference. Immediately prior to Zest, Kate was the Group People Experience Manager for Merivale, an innovative hospitality business with 3,000 staff across 70+ venues. She has also held roles as the Manager Human Resources at Tennis Australia and the Australian Open and the Principle HR Advisor at Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Maroochydore.
